ego ve id'i kontrol eden karakter bolumu. id istegin hemen olmasini ister, ego gerekli sartlarin yerine getirildiginde o istege ulasilacigini belirtir, superego ise hem id'i hem egoyu belli bi sure idare ederek, yapilacak davranisin toplumsal sartlara, ahlak vs vs gibi seylere uygunlugu belirler ona gore hareket saglanir.
The super-ego tends to stand in opposition to the desires of the id because of their conflicting objectives, and is aggressive towards the ego. The super-ego acts as the conscience, maintaining our sense of morality and the prohibition of taboos.
